About me
Hi, I’m Frank. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but recently moved to the US, leaving the wonderful city of Amsterdam behind to move to the desert and the big skies of New Mexico.
And now I’ve become yet another guy with a blog. Great, just what the world needs. But, as one of my elementary school teachers once remarked on my scorecard: “Frank has to stop giving his opinion on everything”. Yep, I’m one of those people who just has to weigh in on everything.
The Internet has places for people like that. They’re called therapy sessions blogs. So there you go.
Oh yeah, if you’re wondering what the name of the blog means: after my wife (who is from the US) and I got married, we lived in Amsterdam for a few years. She brought her cats with her, and so they became expat cats, or expaticats. She started a blog with that name, but once we moved to the US, I was the expat, not my wife or the cats, so I inherited the blog name.
